Dont slit your wrists yet dude. We are winners when we see improvement aka: Lannan, Detwiler, Zimmermann, Stammen... I hope today is just a fluke with Martis.

Its a nice addition when we get wins but this season has been over for awhile.
I love our potential rotation (Balester is pwning in Cuse again today).

But our offense is the worst in baseball by a large margin. Pitching keeps you in games but scoring runs wins you games.

why is Martis still in the game? :?

He's thrown 64 pitches and our bullpen is pretty depleted with 23 innings in two games.  Options are limited and we need a couple more innings out of Martis.  Even you have to admit there aren't any good solutions to this issue (Martis' bad outing).

Well somethings gotta be up though. It definitely wasn't a fluke at the beginning of the season for like that first month + when we were scoring 5 runs +... It seems something changed after the numerous blown games by our bullpen. I dont know what, and Im not Phil Wood, but somethings up.

Martis freaked this game up but since were in the fourth now, just let him stay in. I mean we would want to put a reliever in but knowing Manny hed expend 8 relievers for 3 outs.

See if he can get back for innings 5-7. If he pitches well, maybe the first two innings were the crap innings that Zim and Stammen usually have.

I am glad they are rolling over again for another struggling pitcher.

Enough is enough. call up the bums from Syracuse and go with an all scrubs lineup. They can score more than this stupid ass team.

They are wrong it is Ron Fairly
Fairly played for the expansion 1977 Blue Jays

Ron Fairly was born in 1938 and Phil Niekro was 1939

I'm surprised they haven't had someone in Teddy's costume pretend he was going along with the script and then actually win it in the end to get that stupid crap over with. I would've done that by now.

How are they wrong? It's not like they played on the same team. Fairly was 38 when he played for Toronto in '77. Neikro was 48 when he played for the Blue Jays in 1987.

I thought the question was who was the oldest Blue Jay as in current age, didn't know it was age while playing.

The more and more this game goes on... I'm starting to think Clippard wasn't called up today... but instead will be with the team on Monday.

We should have 10 runs off of this pitcher.
