I'll laugh if Strasburg has a dominant outing and the Nats win 5-0.

A lot of no-hitters seem to be thrown to the back-up catcher so I counter your reverse jinx by calling for a no-hitter.

For some strange reason, Riggs seems to go with a defensively oriented lineup when Stras is pitching, despite the fact that Stras' high strikeout rate greatly reduces the number of balls in play, effectively reducing the need for defense.
+1.  Another strange thing about the line up is that he is playing Guz tonight against the righty when two lefties are coming up.  I can maybe see spotting in Willie tonight if you were determined to give Willingham an off day (he gets two in a row this way), but this is just before the all star break and Willingham should not need a day off.  IOW, no need to start Willie at all this series.  Playing Morgan and Bernie I can't kick too much about.

Can't wait to see Wil Nieves destroy our offense and also destroy Strasburg.

"Hey Stephen, let's go curve, curve, curve, change in this AB."
"But I have a 99 MPH fastball that is feeling awesome tonight."
"Let's go breaking stuff."

Nieves will go to the mound in the first inning and show him the slider grip.

This is what happens when I go to Loeb's NY Deli and they run the "StrasNievesburger" 3 slider special

I told one of the bartenders at CCSP that they should have a "4 Slider Nieves Special", serve one waist high and throw the other three in the dirt.

That's probably the most likely outcome.

So I go onto Twitter and see Craig Heist and Bob Ladson arguing again because they are both being sent to cover the ASG. I am very confused as to why a. the weatherman is covering the ASG and b. they don't like each other so much. I went back and looked at Heist's posts and he seems to actually hate the Nationals. Kind of like he is one of these people trying to be a "realist" but just verges into the unrealistic side of negativity. Ladson does seem kind of goofy and we give him grief here, but he doesn't seem like a hateable guy, whereas Heist kind of reminds me of Keith Law using the internet to prove how much bigger his manhood is than everyone else's. Also again isn't Craig Heist the WTOP weatherman. Is CBS sending Topper Schut to cover the ASG?

You have so much junk on the pitching staff, risking the are of the best pitcher you'll ever have, on Wil Nieves, one of the worst players in major league baseball, is a fireable offense!  >:(

Heist is their main sports guy, too. Covers Caps, Nats, O's.

Yeah but where does this much hatred come from in a guy?

I have one.

Don't have a clue as to who it is... even the people that hate me still respond to my post... so its not them.
I got one too.  I've been systematically making specific posts to see if certain members respond, and they do.  So I don't know who it is.

It is quite easy to accidentally tap the ignore button when scrolling on an iPhone/iPod Touch, as I have done before (once to Linty, but he's not on my list now)

Also, Nieves!?

It's all ridiculous. I have zero right now, which is where the "You have me on ignore!" jokes started from.
