Yes, according to the radio broadcast...Jeff Burroughs went to the same high school I did (Wilson in Long Beach, CA - never met him though as he was a senior and I was a sophomore; he was actually better known as a football player in those days, although I forget what position he played).

I was a Navy brat - born San Diego, lived in Long Beach (home of a major naval station in the 1950's/60's) on a number of occasions; also had one earlier residency in the DC area in 1962-66 when my father was stationed at the HQ of an inter-service agency - and that's when I attended my first MLB match.

Chelsea I first attended in 2000 (vs Derby County, a 4-1 Blues win) - although I have been an anglophile for much longer than that.
