Can we get one of those patented Boone moonshots?

It was D-train.

Good job Boone. God we miss Zim whether people around here want to admit it or not.

Sending Bergmann back out?  Well sure, why not.  May as well rest the BP since we're gonna lose anyway.

I mean, how do we realistically expect to score runs with a lineup full of bench players and minor leaguers?

1. Lopez (Good defensive Second Baseman; Bad hitter; Better served coming off the bench)
2. Guzman (Good defender and .300 hitter; ML starter)
3. Boone (OK defensively and a relatively good hitter but he's no more than a solid bat off the bench at this point in his career)
4. Young (Terrible defensively and so-so offensively; Better served coming off the bench.)
5. Milledge (OK defensively and his bat/speed are coming around; Quality ML CFer)
6. Langerhans (Good defensively and worthless offensively; Nothing more than a 5th OFer)
7. Harris (Good defensively and better served to come out off the bench as a Super Sub)
8. Nieves (OK back-up catcher; better served starting once a week)

Funny, I could've sworn lack of runs was ALWAYS attributable to lack of offense

We finally have a pitcher throw a complete game yet he gives up 4 bombs and we lose 4-0.

What a black and white performance by Bergmann...  so efficient and yet so many uno dingers.

What a weird game for Bergy.  Complete game with 8 strikeouts a no walks.  Gives up 7 hits, 4 of them solo homers.
