I still can't see your banner, only the little person bowing. Is everyone else seeing a red x?

placeholder ... i'll be right back

The hammondnats pattern in 2010 is to win and then lose a Gameday thread start.  It's his turn to WIN his next SG.  But I wonder if I should start this thread:

1) I have Nolasco on my WNFF fantasy team, and he's handily won his last 2 games in the Philly and Colorado bandboxes, pitching 8 then 9 innings.
2) I also have Dempster, who JUST pitched VERY well against the Nationals, but we beat him and the Cubs anyway.
3) You don't see a reverse jinx in play like that too often, so I almost started this thread an hour ago.

If hammondsnats isn't feelin' good about this one, say the word and I'll start the Thread, and we can transfer these posts to it.

It seems like players have ended up so far this season on the DL or bruised/injuried and out of the game, when playing RF -Morse and Harris, so far. I hope we don't have the curse of the RF going on -especially  with Bernadina playing it tonight, and his past injuries........I'm just saying...

Morse has always been a tad injury-prone if I recall, and Harris was bound to hurt himself sooner or later the way he dives around.  I wouldn't be too worried.

You could say the same about Bernadina, though.  Recent injuries and he dives around a lot.

True, but I was referring to the possibility of a "curse."

            WE shall see.......MUWAHAHAHAHA........... :couch:

(It would be fun to have a curse -original to the Nats...like the legend of RF....)

Wow, Coghlan (who's been awful this year, his OPS+ is 7 as in 07.00  ) is batting 2nd while Gaby Sanchez is 8th in the order?  Fredi Gonzalez is batcrap nuts.

they were talking on the ESPN fantasy podcast about Mike Stanton, a prospect who is supposed to be stud along the lines of Heyward (who the marlins could have drafted as well).   He looks like an early June call-up.

Wait so Joe Robby only holds 36 and change or do they tarp it when the AAA team is in town?

Marlins open tryouts on the day before contracts vest.

CF Morgan
2B Kennedy
3B Zimmerman
1B Dunn
LF Willingham
C Rodriguez
RF Bernadina
SS Desmond

just switch Desmond and Kennedy and this lineup would be perfect. it's great to have the best 3b in baseball back in the lineup.

WHO'S HUNGRY FOR SOME FISH FRY?!
