I forecast someone saying "Joel giveth and taketh away" in the near future of this thread. Meaning Joel tied it up with an RBI but he's gonna give it back.

Him, Redding, and Bacsik have to go.  They all started out hot but quickly turned to crap.  These guys, specifically Walkrahan, are not ML quality pitchers.  There is a reason that they were all Minor League Free Agents.

I agree with Bacsik and Hanrahan ... Bacsik just looks like he doesn't care and he is no good on top of that. Hanrahan might have good stuff but he has ZERO control. Redding on the other hand has been a pleasant surprise and if i correctly recall, he's really only had one bad outing ... i think Redding has a shot at the rotation next year.

HOLY COW .... Hanny has 83 pitches over 2 innings ... thats insane

Do you?

I wasn't complaining.  I asked him to stop complaining.

And you do your fair share, thanks.

Actually, you do nothing but complain.

I can't think of a post that you've made that hasn't been a complaint about somebody else complaining.

Hanrahan should maybe go the Ankiel route....without the help, of course. He's a pretty darn good hitter.

We're going to need a HUGE effort from Hanrahan tomorrow, 7 innings at least.
If by huge effort you mean 4 IP 6 H 6 R 6 ER 4 BB 2 SO then I think he can do it.
I had the right idea but my prediction was a little off.

btw, Why is Manny bringing in Abreu AGAIN?  He is worst pitcher on the staff.  Manny adores him for some reason.

Abreu is no better than Hanrahan.  The thing I'm surprised about is that he didn't give up a tape-measure homerun.

and there goes the lead... Good job Manny and your boy Winston.  Instead of bringing in Detwiler or Schroder or Albaladejo or even Rauch he puts in the worst guy.

Actually, I think that honor goes to Colome.  There really are quite a few to choose from.

It's close.  They both can throw it in the mid 90s but have terrible control and mediocre secondary pitches.

Well this is the worst lineup to take the field all season, huh? Possibly the worst (on paper) that ANYONE has put on the field at the same time this season....and we're only down 1. LOL.
