Gotta say, this game demonstrated that penalizing head to head contact does not diminish how hard the players hit, or how entertaining the game is.

Whatever ever jerk at Fox that kept cueing Cardinals videos and had them compare the Vikings to the St Louis Cardinals can drop dead.

Trent Williams really seemed to be on his game yesterday. I know I'm a fan, but he's been a let down most of the time. Well, maybe not so much a let down, but lacked focus or desire. That seems to have changed for the better. Griffin made nice smart reads and seemed to realize that he's not made of iron. The secondary is still bad, but Alexander helped with the pass rush. Overall, it really seems like the play calling has been adjusted to make the best use of our offensive talent. Now imagine this offense with last years defense?

The secondary will be the end of the team. They are not talented enough to line up and play man and they always seem confused when they play zone.  :?  They also need to find a pass rush. While I don't believe Orakpo is anywhere near the player the hype suggests, he does make a difference in that area. Having lost Carriker is huge as well. Having to use Golston to spell Jenkins/Bowen is a major downgrade. Every time that dude is on the field something bad seems to happen. Also, their blitzes have been awful lately. They always get blocked and leave the DB's even more vulnerable than they are already.

The two girls on either side of RGIII were on the News tonight. The girl on the left was Rubenesque (look it up) and attractive. The girl on the other side, who looks sort of washed out in the pic,  was freckled, whippet-thin and very pretty.

RGIII stuck the landing. :)

The big Silverback was a freaking beast on Sunday going up against Jared Allen. Allen got a sack but it was on a play in which Williams blocked down and Allen was being "blocked" by Paulsen. Trent Williams pretty much owned and shut down Allen all game long.   TerpFan76, you have to be proud of your boy.
