A's just took a 5-2 lead over Baltimore and in the ensuing inning, Jones tried to score from first and was gunned down by an amazing throw by Cespedes and a great tag from Derek Norris. This Oakland team is pretty awesome to watch.

Yunel Escobar could get suspended http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/8393013/mlb-investigating-slur-toronto-blue-jays-yunel-escobar-eye-black

Dirk Hayhurst speculated (no evidence) that it was some kind of prank, somehow.

Umpires confer in Braves-Marlins game.  Get the call wrong in the Braves favor.

The Marlins' lineup tonight is a joke.

Four sub .200 hitters: Gorkys, Buck, Velazquez, Eovaldi and then 1 sub .250 hitter: Austin Kearns.

:?

Ozzie Guillen should be arrested for starting career minor leaguer (15 seasons) Gil Velazquez. Why doesn't he ever play that bum vs us? :bang:

Why didn't they start closing the roof before the rain started?  Don't they have radar?
