I use hibernate constantly. I get my 750 windows and my work programs half-run and I don't want to reboot. Yeah, I know I really loved Vista because it's hibernation PWNED XP. My old linux distros hibernated better than XP.

But if you're really running that much stuff, I can understand not wanting to use STR.

Whatever.  In any case, OS X had been actively using the concepts for a while, and now Microsoft has improved the concept.  I mean I'm praising Windows for something and you still have to bash me.


I would like to see the Windows 1.0 screenies though, I actually haven't seen anything of Windows 1.0 or 2.0, my first intro to Windows was 3.1

I'll dig em up.  I never personally used Windows 1 either, btw
