Though Stephen Strasburg struck out 15 and only gave up 2 runs, he is tagged with his first loss of the season to UVa. Final score 5-1. No. 7 ranked Virginia pitching has been good this year and San Diego State is gonna struggle in the regionals if this is the kind of offense they are going to put up.

After the first couple innings, he really found his groove. I like the way he adjusted to what the UVA hitters were doing to him (swinging at first pitch fastballs).

Really, uva only got one solid hit off of him, after that there were a couple of bleeders and bloopers -- and he was dazzling from inning 3 on ... his stuff is electric and that slider is filthy -- CANNOT WAIT!
