tagliabue saved his ass by giving him an out before his 'evidence' became public in a public trial (though Vilma is apparently proceeding)

Are you sayin' the fix was in?    I'm shocked  ...  ;)

Pats- Stallworth IR, Branch back, Shancoe cut.  Branch never cleared out his locker when he was waived a couple of months ago.  Stallworth probably injured himself on the lunge to the end zone.  Shancoe getting cut is probably a good sign for Gronk.

Need to make a pick for a Flush/Suicide/Survivor pool before noon Thursday.(Cannot use the same team more than once.) Must pick a team that wins.  (The point spread is irrelevant, but most participants go with a top pick.) This contest may extend into the playoffs.

Week 15's top  point spreads:
At Houston    -8    Indianapolis ( I cannot take Houston)
At Miami    -7    Jacksonville
Detroit    -6    At Arizona
Seattle    -5    At Buffalo
Cincinnati    -3    At Philadelphia
At St. Louis    -3    Minnesota
At San Diego    -3    Carolina     ( I cannot take San Diego)
Green Bay    -2.5    At Chicago
At Oakland    -2.5    Kansas City
Denver    -2.5    At Baltimore  ( I cannot take Denver)

Since I already used them, I cannot take:
New England, Houston, Atlanta, San Francisco, Denver, San Diego

I'm inclined to take Detroit, although I don't like taking road teams.  Arizona won its first 4 games (including a win at New England), and has lost 9 straight.  I'm thinking of Miami too, but the Dolphins seem weak on offense.

I think Oakland will throw, KC will run, and a Raider field goal could win a close one.

I enjoyed the four turnovers in five plays bit.

And the turnover stat doesn't even take into account what happened on the blocked punt. The stadium was half empty and then pretty much 90% empty by the 4th quarter and those that remained only stayed to boo the team off the field.  :lmao:  Having said that, Washington will probably go into that stadium next week and get owned with another bodybag/MN blowout type game.  :?  :hang:

Need to save GB for the playoffs in a Survivor pool.  Participants took Detroit, Miami, or Seattle (playing the Bills in Toronto, 1.5 hours from Buffalo.)

I might have taken Oakland over Kansas City today for the Survivor Pool, after hearing that WR Dwayne Bowe was put on the IR for ribs.  Didn't know KC RB Jamaal Charles had a relative by marriage who died in the murder/suicide there:

Quote
"Not only did Charles lose a teammate in the Jovan Belcher murder-suicide Dec. 1, but his wife's cousin, Kasandra Perkins, was the victim. Despite the tragedy, ensuing memorial services, wakes and funerals, Charles has managed to stay focused while not speaking publicly. Charles, who leads the AFC with 1,220 rushing yards, ran for 127 in Kansas City's 27-21 victory over Carolina one day after the Belcher incident...

BTW, I know Brady and Manning are having great seasons but there should be no debate as to who is the league's MVP. ADRIAN freakING PETERSON!

Bills taking it in the ass in Toronto. People are funny. I have neighbors who have been flying their Buffalo flag on NFL Sundays for a couple of years. This season they are flying a Minnesota Vikings flag.

Why is Pitt's defense so terrible today? Polamalu is a disgrace

Came into the game #1 in total defense and #1 against the pass, but sure. Not having Taylor and Woodley is a killer.

Agreed but Romo ain't Flacco.   I was checkin' a Steelers' site and somebody called "game".   It was like deja vu on a Nats' game chat.   :)

Romo ain't Flacco for sure, especially when Murray is gashing the defense like he is so far and he can spread the field easily.

Too easy.

This CB who is replacing Ike absolutely blows, and it doesn't help that every defender is trying to hit stick instead of actually tackling.

That's the Steelers defense I've seen.    Chargers and Browns beat 'em as well.
