So, I picked Yonder Alonso just for the hell of it for NL ROY before I looked up his playing time.  Can someone explain how he's eligible for ROY?

Quote
A player shall be considered a rookie unless, during a previous season or seasons, he has (a) exceeded 130 at-bats or 50 innings pitched in the Major Leagues; or (b) accumulated more than 45 days on the active roster of a Major League club or clubs during the period of 25-player limit (excluding time in the military service and time on the disabled list).

Alonso had 117 AB's coming into this year and he hadn't spent 45 days on the active roster outside of September (only 24 career games outside of September)

The only prediction I am willing to go out on a limb and make here is two fold:

1) I believe the Nats will finish with a better than .500 record.

2) Both Chicago teams will finish dead last in their respective divisions.

The Cubs have the potential to be werse than the 2003 Tigers.  If they stick with Marmol and Wood as their backend bullpen they'll drop 110 no problem.
