i don't hate bernadina.  i just don't think he's a big leaguer.

if you have noticed, all offseason i have begged for a CF ... and we didn't get one.  is ankiel an upgrade over bernadina?  i guess, sure (even though that's not saying ....) , but we need a real CF.

this had the potential to be a ghetto haiku

I have another gif I'm going to make when I'm at my CPU. It should be a good upset/horrible call GIF with Ryan Zimmerman.

can you make one of the strike 3 before the homer e-jax gave up?

I'll have to see if they have that highlight in the videos. I don't think they do.

What do you use to capture?  I'll have the MLB.tv archive but no way to capture and/or make a gif.

It's some browser app that can download videos. I'll have to look at the name when I'm home.

I went to bed (night shift) when Jackson gave up the homer.    Damn glad I did.

As bad as our offense has looked - I spent a drive home from NJ listening to yesterday's Philly game- they seem dead in the water and their radio guys aren't even trying to put a gloss on it

We were at the game.

- Bernadina and Derosa are not starting-quality players. Bottom of the order is almost automatic out.

- Put Lombo in LF

- LaRoche clearly safe at 2b, but Nats got break on a caught-stealing. Probably not evening up, but likely bad positioning by umpire...standing between pitcher and 2B, view blocked by the man covering second.

- Espinosa badly fooled on a couple of swing Ks. Far ahead of the pitch, trying to hold up. Maybe he should just bat right-handed all the time.

- Jackson: one slip.

- No, Davey, don't have Desmond bunt in the 9th, Lombo on 1B. He's a terrible bunter. And have him at least disguise the bunt. He went into bunt stance about the time Rauch got his sign...Wright and Davis were charging...and bad bunt. Might as well have let Desmond swing.

- HRod has to field. (Obviously). Not so obvious is the calm and skill Rauch had...experience, I guess.

- Odd to have Miguel Batista and Jon Rauch pitch against the Nats. Tried to remember who the Nats got for Rauch. It was Emilio Bonifacio, "the 7th best player in the Arizona farm system". What a year was 2008!

We need some runs.    When I headed to bed ...  gettin' ready for night work  ....  the Nats had like 7 hits and had left 5 men on base.    It was only the 4th or 5th inning.    Not disagreeing with you but the hits we get aren't always timely.    Then, La Rouche was safe  ...   somebody else got thrown out at second (Desmond?).    We piss away opportunities.
