Dumatrait will be called up from Triple-A Louisville to make his Major League debut against Washington. He was originally slated to start for Louisville Tuesday but was pulled in favor of Kirk Saarloos. The 26-year-old Dumatrait was 10-5 with a 3.49 ERA in 21 starts this season.
Bacsik was solid in his last start and helped the Nationals defeat the Mets, 6-2, at Shea Stadium. Bacsik lasted seven innings and gave up two runs on eight hits. Bacsik was efficient, throwing just 83 pitches while 55 of them went for strikes.
