While, I agree of course - the last error was on Felipe, he threw it over his head - but the first dropped hop - was on Dmitri - though in his defense, he is playing better (not great mind you) but better over at first lately ...

Well Felipe wouldn't have thrown it so hard if Dmitri had gotten the first one. That is one of the beautiful things about baseball. Everything that happens, happens because of what proceded it. But Dmitri made up for it.

Can Bascik get the win now??

Previously I would have said yes, but after what happened to Bergmann a few games back, I'm not sure I fully understand the rules for wins and losses, so I'm going to have to defer to anyone else who might know.

Ah ... I see what you're saying - and yes, I'd say he certainly more than made up for it :)

Off the top of my head, the starting pitcher has to pitch 5 innings minimum, but his team cannot be tied or give up the lead.  Bacsik left in the 6th and the game was at least tied.  Rivera was the pitcher when the Nationals took the lead in the bottom of the 6th, and is still in line to be the winning pitcher.  As I understand how it works from reading the rule re Bergmann's game a while back.

The radio team played "Hail to the Chief" at the start of the inning.  These guys are a riot.  Does mean you are NOT watching ther game on tv?  There seems to be a at least a 5-second delay in the tv broadcast, which is VERY annoying.  Ifr you are doing something with the game on, the radio is better, since they describe everthing.
