We have to insist on a major return for his services.

I guess he's just going to have to hit it out of the park to score a run today!

He's known as a contact hitter but he needs to be aware of the count. On 3-2 you don't swing at a pitch outside the strike zone even with the runners moving.

This is unbelievable.  Ramirez has hit 4 hr in 2 games to the exact same spot every time.

You know Ryan did the same thing in the rist inning ... reaching for a pitch when Lopez was going for second ... looks like it spooked the batter into swiging ... need to show a little more awareness at the plate

Playing in Wrigley you would think he would have 40 bombs by now but he doesn't get to face Washington pitching on a regular basis.

He's in a zone, that's for sure ... the rest of the cubs bats aren't doing anything ... time to start giving him the Pulholz treatment and walking him ...

Yeah I guess he thought he was protecting the runner. That actually contributed to killing the inning because it took away the advantage he would've had in the count.

Zimmerman up to his tricks again! 2-out RBI double. He was getting sick of Soriano getting thrown out at the plate during his at bats.

Another acceptable outing by Livan. With the day off on Monday he may be slated to pitch again on Thursday against the Giants or if not Friday night in LA. That's one more outing to try to impress and increase his trade worth. Do we risk that or ship him now?
