"Do you have a pitcher that is down on his luck?  Do you have a hurler that has been struggling and driving you up the wall?  It doesn't matter what his problem is: WE HAVE THE SOLUTION!  Come and play the WASHINGTON NATIONALS BASEBALL CLUB!

That's right baseball managers, if you need the strikeouts!  If you need to lower that ERA!  Do you want your mediocre no-name starter to look like the next big thing?  THEN PLAY THE NATS and you too can have a Roger Clemens on your roster!"

the last time we got the ball out of the infield was Zimm's fly out to center in the 4th

This is unbelievable.

I don't know why Sanchez wouldn't go another inning.  He's not working that hard!

They've all looked that way ... maybe it's the heat ... nobody is hitting today

and so goes the 7th - last ball hit past the infield was Zimm in the 4th ....pretty much tells it all.

I think he does too - what's he thrown - 30 pitches??? Or does it just seem that way?

This might be the most embarrassingly, OFFENSIVE offensive performance of the season.

what i find interesting is that we have almost as little offense this year as we've had the last 2 years. and this yr we have Zimm and Sori and we still cant get any consistant offense

Man, Ortiz is pitching one of his best games of the year...and he's going to take an L here, most likely.
