Bailey's in Germantown just signed on. We are starting the season with our current 5 locations, but will add Bailey's and others in the next phase once we get going.

What part of Maryland would you like us to set up a station at? Any restaurant suggestions?

I'm in the Wheaton/Silver Spring area. Wheaton/Westfield Plaza has huge parking lots.

That looks like something I might just be able to do :mg:

You are correct that GW Parkway is off limits to buses, so the alternate route is 495 to 267 E and then 66 E. The decent news is that it only adds 3 extra miles to the trip. The bad news is that you have to continue on 495 for another exit and go through the bottleneck where 267 meets 66. Is it still worth a shot? We think so.

That inbound bottleneck isn't nearly as bad in the afternoon/evening as it is in the morning.

We have a bus confirmed for Thursday, April 12 at the Glory Days Reston (they're opening their doors at 10am so our passengers can pre-game up until we depart at 11:30).

We also have a bus confirmed for Saturday, April 14 at The Greene Turtle Sterling, at the Dulles Town Center (having a Ballpark Bus launch party prior to the 2:30pm departure).

We still some time left to get some more buses confirmed.

Are those 2 buses full, or can they still take additional passengers?

There's still plenty of room on both. Hope to see you on board!

In favor of a Germantown, Gaithersburg or Rockville location.

Seemed like a nice idea but these guys are really struggling to find riders, as of now none of the buses are half way to the minimum number of reservations to make the run.  If you want to try this out I'd suggest signing up a dozen of your friends in the near future.

Yes, signing up a dozen friends at a time would work very nicely :)

It will take some time to get off the ground, but we'll get there.

Only 2 more passengers needed to book a bus out of The Greene Turtle Sterling (at Dulles Town Center) for this Saturday's game. If anyone lives out in the Sterling/Ashburn/Leesburg area, come catch a ride with your fellow fans:

I saw that you are promoting the Os series coming up in a couple weeks and I was wondering if you are planning on doing the Os games in Baltimore.  I might have a conflict that weekend but if not I'd be interested in booking a trip.  (Possibly a Philly trip too, I did that last year and had a blast, my friends are asking if we are doing it again.)

Oh, and the official name of the series is the MASN Cup.

PB, will you be promoting the upcoming Cup series on various Orioles boards?

I still prefer 'Parkway Series'...'MASN Cup' sounds too one-sided in favour of the Orioles.

I gave that up in 2009 after they deleted the MASN Cup thread.  It was ridiculous over-moderation in my opinion, I kept my comments in a single thread so it wasn't like I was junking up their board, many of their fans added comments in the good spirit of competition, and it's not like I had any influence on the outcome so I gloated when we won and took my lumps when we lost.  I thought that the point of the rivalry games was to stir up the fan base and have some fun, but I guess the message boards are not the place for fun.

I finally got perma-banned on their site last winter for repeating the joke about the Ravens kicker attempting suicide after losing that playoff game for them and then botching it when he tried to kick out the chair and missed.

It was started as kind of an FU to Angelos, you have our TV rights but we have the better team.

MASN Cup?  That's atrocious.  I always thought "Battle of the Beltway" sounded fine.
