sportsfan always (when one of his boys is on the mound) blames the coaching for his boys getting shelled. Maybe that was Cabrera's, Beimel, Bergmann's (last night) problem as well. It's ridiculous to assume that the pitchers are blameless and that it's the coaching that sucks. At some point the pitchers have to be held accountable for not executing the game plan.
what game plan? if there is one it SUCKS!

St. Claire is an abomination. You refuse to acknowledge that. Why should him and Acta have jobs?

JZ wasn't great tonight and made some bad pitches but he got a worse fate than he deserved.

CONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE ON HOMERUN:  On the SNY feed - field reporter went and talked to ten Mets fans who sat behind the sign and not a single one said it hit it - they admitted the Mets got a gift.

McDougalez. Another Dominican Republican, obviously. Manny and his amigos. Jeez.
Huh? MacDougal got called up.

Ledezma isn't even on the 40 man.

spider nobody is giving jz a free pass.

I am.  I give the entire pitching staff a free pass until the offense scores 4 runs.

CBS Sportsline currently has Ledezma pitching.  I was livid.  MacDougal is not much better.

Yep, I don't know where the proof is.  Just because it was hit hard doesn't mean it was a home run, on top of that the park is about as awkward as can be at that point.  In a normal park that is a home run, at Citi Field 15 mins ago it wasn't.

So I take it if the ball hits that overhang it's automatically a homer?  Shouldn't it have to go OVER the overhang to be a homerun just like you need to hit it OVER a wall?  It's no different then a normal wall in the outfield it's just suspended.  What a stupid ballpark.  Could you imagine sitting in those seats?  I bet you can't see half the field.

Let's get you in an interview with Debbi Taylor so you can tell the entire MASN audience all the information you're privy to regarding the game plan, since you seem to be in their meetings and know everything that is being discussed or not discussed. I don't care one bit about St Claire but I know that a game plan means crap when the pitchers are hittable and miss their spots.

A ball didn't have to travel over the upper deck siding at RFK for it to be a home run. It could bounce off back onto the field and it was still a bomb.

What was Ledezma's Number? Villone is 41. Could CBS be doing it by uni number? That's bizarre.

the pitchers are hittable in part because they are throwing the wrong pitches in the wrong counts to the wrong batters.

It can't get any worse than this.

And the stadium has only been around two months! Imagine how much controversy this stadium is going to cost. I hope it costs the Mets a lot.

Refresh my memory but did the upper deck siding hang 10 feet over the outfield?  I can understand it bouncing off the siding and coming back onto the field if it was behind the fence but if something is in the field of play to me that's fair until it goes into the stands.

God I know, and to think how many times we will have to play at this crappy stadium the next 30-40+ years.
