Milledge in my opinion has got the most potential on the team over Zim

I think Dukes has the most potential, both positive and negative.

You gotta love how Zim is playing. We may be in last place, but there is a different kind of energy going on with this team since we jettisoned some of the dead weight. I hope this carries into next season. If Zim keeps this up....he may well be the best 3B in the national league.

Milledge has a ton of potential, but I gotta go with Dukes and Zim.

I notice that folks are quickly backing off the suggestion that we should have traded Zim for Adam Dunn. :)

Ohh, that's what defense looks like.  After watching the Fish for so long, I'd forgotten.

Oh, there were quite a few people saying they would make that deal in a heartbeat. I was criticized for saying the idea was stupid.

I remember there was some talk about that on the trade board a while back. It was an insane suggestion to say the least.

Super play by Guzman to save a run.  He had to go a long ways to get that one.

Even more sad is those of us who were blasting the idea were outnumbered.

Wilmington-Potomac (top of the 12th):  Dan Leatherman (23 years old), fresh up from Low-A Hagerstown (former Twins farmhand signed as minor FA this season), comes into the game to make his Potomac debut (joined the roster yesterday with Cole Kimball).  The first batter sends a chopper over Stephen Kings head, but Daniel Lyons is there to field the ball in shallow left.  Unfortunately, and despite the stretch by Lefave, the runner reaches safely.  Paolo, the second batter, flys out to left with a 3-2 count.  Orlando steals second with a 1-2 count, the throw was just a second late by Solano.  Leatherman gets in trouble with another 3-2 count, but the batter swings and flies out for out #2.  Josh Johnson, 0-3 with a walk on the night, fouls out to Stephen King who catches it at the edge of the grass.

How will Potomac finish this game?  They have little experience this season in close games, as the majority of their wins have been blowouts.  Brown, Plancesia, Whiting (who came in for Burgess) are due up in the bottom of the 12th.

Hey I'm pretty much a normal poster. And considering my age...And I never said that. Hate Dunn.

Yes! Bernadina comes through.  I was starting to lose hope that he would ever come up in the clutch.
