Edwin Jackson is costing himself millions of dollars.  He should have taken one of those multiple years offers he got before he signed with us cuz he has no chance of getting them this offseason.

No team should even offer this bum a one year deal. He's pitiful.

Finally, a strikeout. Hoping this is a sign of future success.

I hate to go that route but that really is how it has felt so far.

the Cards have that Yankee aura of a team that is supremely confident in the playoffs.  we don't have that.

I know it's the postseason so every moment matters but Jackson isn't bad. Someone will pick him up.

Not on board with going with Gio in game 4 unless you are confident both him and JZ on short rest are better than Det and Gio on adequate rest.  I think more of Det than that.

I'm not thinking about Jackson's future. I'm thinking about how someone in that dugout is going to nut up and bring us our first freaking home playoff victory.

He could be flawless the rest of the game. No way we score runs against Carp rolling.

Every time I want to bench Espinosa, he plays defense and changes my mind.

I wouldn't call Carp rolling but he is pitching decent. We just can't hit very well period.

Just pitch Gio. Take a risk. Don't want to have that and the Strasburg shutdown lingering forever.

I know.  One can't quantify it but it certainly has that "feel."

OK time to get things going. Top of 3rd with no damage done (well a single but it didn't score a run)

Just keep grinding and hope Jackson settles down.  Carp is at 40 pitches through 2.  Be patient and chip away.  If a big fly happens, so be it.

A lot of ballgame left.

It'll be someone like Houston or the Cubs who have no post-season aspirations.
