This season is shaping up to be a disaster before it even starts. :(

I was excited too for a while but with no offensive line, a RB hitting the end of the road, unproven QB, and only 1 WR worth a damn, this year will likely be another struggle.

Instead of spending valuable early round picks on offensive lineman which has been a dire need for years we waste 3 picks on two WRs and one TE who have yet to show a damn thing and are constantly injured.

Randy Thomas should just hang it up because I doubt he'll ever be healthy. Who the hell knows who will make it out of the rest of them. If we have to rely heavily on guys like Rinehart and Heyer we will know that we are freaked.

Could Vick be headed to DC? There's a jersey for him at the NFL Shop.

His agent said he won't be signing with the Skins. This is just more crap for the media to talk about and stir up crap. Of course this is Snyder's fault for being such a moron and having a reputation for treating the Skins like a fantasy football team.

and Cerrato. both clueless on how to run a football team.

let's hope the team doesn't embarrass us tonight.

looking forward to seeing Orakpo and Devin Thomas play.

I'm watching both tonight.  Even if it's a Redskins in season game, I'm still going to watch the Nats.

hilarious. Theismann is grilling the defense for the same crap as last year.

they don't make plays. no sacks, no turnovers, no pressure, nothing.

our offense played two series without our star running back, our star wide receiver and star right guard.

marques hagans - a QUARTERBACK @ VIRGINIA - was getting snaps with the first team ... relax folks.

 at calling Moss, CP, and Samuels stars

who's panicking? This first game just confirmed my beliefs that this is a mediocre 8-9 win team.

If you are a franchise like the Skins who haven't won the division in years that should be the first goal. Then the SB.

Finishing with a "winning record" is not success

WTF mate? Schaub has been a beast when healthy with Houston. Rosenfels is on the Vikings now. I have no clue as to what you're going on about.

Hagans was with the Rams for two years as a WR and was with the Chiefs last year as a WR. He hasn't played QB in years.

Usually upbeat and animated, Coach Jim Zorn seemed perturbed Friday while addressing the media at Redskins Park.

It was the lack of effort Zorn observed, however, that really irked him.

"Not scoring points, not sustaining drives, it's irritating," Zorn said.
"I've got to call a better game and I've got to put our guys in a position to score. That's No. 1 from my standpoint. And then No. 2, I think our young guys" must figure out how things work in the NFL.

Many of the young players competing to make the 53-man opening-day roster approached Thursday's game as if they had it all figured out. "They've watched this game [NFL football] all their lives, they've finally got a chance to go out there and play it, and [they] think it's going to be just like it was before.

"And it's not just like it was before. It is intense. It is exact. And it is passionate. And it is emotional. I felt like some of the young guys saw some of our veterans, who played great, [and] saw they're going to have to pick things up. And we played guys, quite honestly, that need to improve. They need to play better in the coming weeks."
