Will YNOT get unlocked since the game never started?  Not a big deal if not, but I forgot to enter mine in.

i understand why they didn't call it earlier ... i mean it's clearing up there fairly soon i think, it's just a matter of them starting so late.

Rained out. 1:15 and 7:15 tomorrow according to Cardinals broadcasters

Last I saw MASN was still running a rain delay ticker. And by MASN I mean FiOS 1.

Just as well, I suppose.  No way I was going to be able to stay awake for this.

Sorry about this, but since it was the St. Louis announcers, the times would be 2:15 and 8:15 Eastern.

2:15 and 8:15 ET starts tomorrow. Not bad, since tonight was bowling night and I get off work at 3:00 tomorrow, so I should catch most of the first game.  Let's take two...again!

Gotta like the matchup in game 1.  Zim didn't have much success in his career vs. the Cards and Garcia owned us in his only start vs. us, but Zims our best going right now, so I'll take my chances.  Should be a fun day.

Secretly, I'm glad we will now have a doubleheader, because I get to chill and listen to Game 1 this evening!

New Gameday first post can be found in reply #1. The old one is being preserved with a little italic explanatory note.

If the Nationals win these next two games and take first place in NL East, I will never do anything wrong again.

Amen.'

Adam Kilgore points out that if we win both games and the Phillies and Marlins lose, it will be the first time the Nationals have had (or shared) first place after Week 1 since 2005 - and the first time Ryan Zimmerman has ever been on a first-place team after more than six games.

Zimmerman not playing will fuel the run. Zimmerman is a looser. :stir:
