I don't have any boys. I like whoever produces and I bash whoever flops.

Now you know that's not entirely true SF. You may be the only one here who thinks that true.   :nono:

???

It's Latino Heritage day at Nationals Park. They're going to give away Los Nacionales T-shirts, feature Latin music and honor contributions to the game by Hispanic players or as eagleskins calls them, amigos.

Yeah. Now he's in RF. I used to be a big fan, but he's a guy I've lost faith in lately.

Kearns is a walking machine!

I'd love to get a Los Nacionales t-shirt. Do you think they'll give then to Caucasians? :)

I'm assuming most people there will be Cardinals fans because most people around here will be more in tuned with the Caps' game.

But there's not a lot of Mexicans in D.C. And patient zero in Mexico lived near a giant pig farm owned by an American corporation...

there might not be a lot in D.C. but there's a ton in Northern Virginia. not necessarily from Mexico but many of hispanic descent.

I didn't think about that.

Bah. It's game 1. I'm going to the Nats game if my son doesn't have a game. I really would like a Los Nacionales t-shirt.

So who is going to close, Tavarez (or as eagleskins calls them, one of Acta's EZ boys)?

That was my point. I believe most of the immigrants in the Washington D.C. Area are from Guatemala and El Salvador. Swine flu isn't there.

Leadoff walks are just inexcusable.

So you're saying Acta can't or shouldn't be blamed for the BP meltdowns?

Debbi Taylor is a hard hitting member of this staff. She sounded so full of confidence with her report of Kip Wells and his time in the Cape Cod League. Either she is a complete dolt, or has a tough time reading her own notes when speaking. I tend to think it is both.

he puts people in positions to fail more often that not. it's all about putting the bullpen guys in spots where they have the best chance of succeeding.  having a bunch of inaccurate dimwits in the pen doesn't help but Acta has made some bad moves.
