This is not the way to go into the coming week...blowing a match in the late going, just as we're heading out to play a four-match series in that pitchers' graveyard Coors Field.

Given the mental-toughness/killer-instinct issues this ball club has, I could see a bit of a tail-spin starting right here, right now....

This team is not playing good baseball. 3-6 over their last three series. Better pray for the Yankees to figure out Dickey tonight.

I hate always having to root for the other NL East teams to lose. Why can't the Nats just take matters into their own freaking hands and win some games?

I'm not worried. We survived the H-Rod games, most notably Pittsburgh and the Barajas walk-off. We'll be fine.

We have one of the better records in the National League. We've won plenty of games.
