imo, as of right now..

*If* Dunn proves he can play a competent 1B over the rest of this season, I extend him for 3 years.  3 years, 15m per would be my starting offer.

if he proves to be a major liability in the field, I trade him to the AL.

Why wouldn't you wait until next season? See if you get a good offer at the trade deadline, if not try to resign for 1-2 years.

i think dukes has really changed his attitude and matured for the better.  if he can stay healthy and hit breaking stuff, i still think he could be a valuable outfielder for us for years to come.
