  • Platoon - not just a movie, a baseball obsession
I don't care what happens the rest of the game- bump for a four pitch inning

This is the essence of the worst performance.

  • That’s gonna be a no from me, doge.
We should have a "Best pitching performance in Nationals history" thread counter to this one.

Do it bra. I was saying the same thing a while back.

Why bother with another thread?  They might as well be the same thread most nights.

Strasburg's the slugging left fielder we've been looking for

Ian Desmond is our noted 'Top Batter' with a 1-4 line with 3 k's.

I think almost every game is a crappy offensive performance.  It's hard to pick a "worst" one.

This isn't quite as bad as last year against the Dodgers where we went 27 up, 27 down after a quick start in the first, but it is close.

Oh, are we picking the worst game?  I thought that 2012 was the worst offensive performance for the season.

our starting pitchers continue to pitch so well.
If our offense can simply match last year's offense, we will be in the playoff.
2011 Nats: 624 runs scored in 161 games, average 3.875 runs per game
2012 Nats: 74 runs scored in 22 games,  average 3.363 runs per game

a difference of more than .51 run per game

I plan to, but I haven't been able to listen to these past few games. Sounds like I didn't miss anything.  :(

I tried to pick up Cahill for fantasy but he didn't show up in the ESPN league.  Is the guy fresh up from AAA or something? :smh:

I thought somebody already had him on their team.  I could be wrong.

It's a fantasy rule to not allow any FA pitchers who are pitching against the Nats to be picked up.
