GBurg, I also lost power for 6 days during the Derecho. I have a generator, though.
The flooding could cut me off completely for a couple days. Tom might have to come on a raft to save me.
Really? My boyfriend in Gaithersburg (by Rio) had power after like 18 hours. It seemed like Germantown had it much worse.
