No need to rush Werth back as we're going just fine in the outfield at the time being.

Corey Brown will be the first to go.

Mattheus. Guy has not pitched well. He has options. Send him down, call up Werth or Tracy (whoever is ready first)

Lots of Werth hate has reemerged, huh? Dude was doing well before he hit the DL.

I say (pretending to be Rizzo):

Tracy replaces HRod
Werth replaces Brown, but slowly returns. Maybe alternate him with Harper, who seems to be running run. Do that fo rtwo weeks, and then figure out to do with all the OFs. Maybe Morse to 1B for a few days to let LaRoche heal his back.

I can't figure out where to play Shark and TMoore, unless the Nats do some platooning.

HROD isn't going anywhere unless they do send him through waivers.

Be fair, he looked pretty good this season outside of his 20%+ strikeout strut rate.

If you check back (incl. GD threads) you'll see my opinion of Wethless has remained completely constant.

He was just doing ok, before the wrist, definitely not "well."

He struck out once a game and his avg with RISP was terrible.

Just once?  By today's standards, he's Nellie Fox.

Give Corey Brown more time...consider Tyler Moore...Shark has some bite...that's a decent three,  and Harper and LaRoche can rest, with Morse to 1B. Not bad.

Amanda Comak ‏@acomak
Chad Tracy played 7 innings at 1B & was 2-for-4 tonight for Triple-A Syracuse. Jayson Werth was 1-for-3 & played 7 innings in RF.

.276/.372/.439 is okay and not "well".

Also he struck out less than once per game. His OBP was solid with RISP even if his AVG was not (extremely SSS btw)
