I like Erick Fedde out of UNLV as a guy we should draft at 18 this year, though we'll probably just go highest upside regardless of bonus demands.

I thought of putting in the Red Loft.  I thought I saw other colleges mentioned in The Farm though.  Oh well.

The Terps score 3 in the bottom of the ninth against Old Dominion and won.  Amazing.

My boy Mikey P about to lead it off for ODU in the bottom of the 10th! He's hit many walk-offs for us in high school, no luck this time though.

You a fellow Mason alum too? Class of 2000 myself.

I was hyped because Cowlishaw picked us as his sleeper on Around The Horn, even rocked a Mason hat.

Congrats to the Terps; they will take on UVA.  At least one "local" team will make the College World Series.

The Nats need to watch how UVA takes their at-bats.  They sit there and make the pitcher throw them THEIR pitch.  I think yesterday the guys were saying some of the Arkansas relievers went through like 70+ pitches in 2.2 innings.

For this to work, you need batters who are sufficiently skilled enough to consistently foul off pitch after pitch.  The Nationals don't have that.

They scored 6 runs with 2 outs (started by a bases-loaded walk).  I was like, what team is this?

Two best teams in the tourney, IMO.

Have been to a couple games in Nashville; they have a nice little park on campus.  Saw Sonny Grey pitch the one year and Yaz' grandson play outfield.  They were ranked number #1 last year and believe they didn't make it out of the regionals.  Things seem to be breaking their way this year.

We are on the Auto Train heading home and I was constantly refreshing ESPN to follow the score. UVA in the championship series. Hard to believe it. The athletic department came close to dropping baseball about 12 years ago!
