Carroll and Guzman on the field at the same time!  What will be the outcome?

FSN didn't show a good replay before the commercial break...but it LOOKED like Guzman got his hand on the plate before the tag.

If there is a save oppertunity, I think so. Pattersons pitch count is getting high, how long does he usually go?

I'm feeling good about this one.  I think we're going to make it out of the inning.  Patterson's struck the first two out.

I'll say it again - he's so good when he's on.

WILKERSON CATCHES THE BUNT!  CORY SULLIVAN GOT GUZMANNED!

(From now on, anyone who pops a bunt up for a fly-out has "Guzmanned.")

patterson usally only goes 5 or six w/ a pitch count of around 100. his pitch count usually gets up there fast.....but tonight he's been doing well.

No, what he's deserving of is a FRICKIN' DECISION for once.

edit: It would be nice to shellack Zach Day, wouldn't it?

I say bring the Chief in unless we get too many runs to make it a non save opportuinty

patterson should go out for the ninth, he's only at 103 pitches. our bullpen deserves a night off.

This team does not need stastistics.  To hell whether its a non save situation.  We need a win tonight and then break loose tomorrow night for 8 runs.

The most important thing is to get out of this game with a W, but I agree Patterson deserves a win and a complete game. Lets score some insurance runs and keep him in.

Yeah, that's what they said before Livan gave up that home run during his last game.  I say bring in the Chief - take no chances.

Patterson, however, has been a hoss tonight.  Just brilliant.  8 innings of 2-hit shutout ball.  The guy's a phenom, I'm telling you.

Wow, runners at the corners, nobody out, and Schneider coming up?

AND WE'RE DOUBLE-PLAY PROOF RIGHT NOW.  Gotta get a run.
