That's inexcusable base running. Who is it that says MLB base runners are the dumbest people on the planet?

Yes. He was tossed during the alleged Michael Morse getting hit by a pitch
Oh, I didn't get home from church until about the 8th, so I missed all that.

Wait...where did Davey go, did he get tossed earlier in the game?

Yes. He argued an apparent HBP with Morse batting and asked the plate umpire to call a conference, and the home plate umpire agreed to. Then Davey was just standing around and Joe West threw him out.

I might have missed something, I really don't understand why West tossed him.

I think the only person who understands what West does is West.

IDK, but that was bad. It reminds me of a baserunning mistake Lastings Milledge made that I never forgave him for.

He wanted to be singled out on TV to use it as a plug for his other career.

Damn homes, the Brave in Milwaukee oh ... your're right.   The 50's were the last century.

About 3 innings ago when Morse was nicked by the pitch and it wasn't called.

DaveyJ came out to say "I could hear it hit him all the way in the dugout."  But it was not the home plate umpire who threw him out, but The Jackjerk at 3B, Joe "The Jackkjerk" West.

WErth's RBI hit was huge but his base running gaffe was brutal.

It didn't look like Morse was hit by that pitch. Saw the replay a couple of times...Reds broadcast, though.

Storen isn't that good. He and Clippard give up way too many gopher balls to be a legitimate set-up-closer combo consistently into the future.

Incidentally, the only Nats bench player is Ramos, unless they use Livan as a PH. This could get really fascinating in the 13th...

It was his immediate reaction to it that sold me on it. He clearly felt it or he's a quick acting mofo. However, I disagree with people that claim it was obvious.
