Well, we're 3-1. We should be at least a little satisfied, right?

When you can't put a fastball over the plate, you shouldn't be in the Majors.

And still leading the division. But that was a tough one.

Well, we're 3-1. We should be at least a little satisfied, right?

Thank you, Beachball.  Thank you, Colome. Your real lockers are in Columbus.

When you can't put a fastball over the plate, you shouldn't be in the Majors.

I would have preferred Rauch in that situation. Or even Schroder. Colome's never really been known for his accuracy.

Exactly. It never should've gotten to this point, even with the two runs our relievers gave up. Inexcusable.

Thank you, Zimmerman. Thanks to all who left the bases loaded.

i'm sorry, but giving back a 5-run lead is inexcusable.  especially when we jumped on the phillies as early as we did.

That's how I feel. Baseball is officially out of my head. Too big of a hockey game tonight to think about this one.

yea thats exactly what i was talkin bout, we shoulda won with a 6-1 game.. giving up 6 runs in one inning isnt really a good way to go, followed by a walk in winning run.. ughh, just hope they can shake that type of playing off and win in stl.

ah, o well...the quest for 162-0 ends on an inexcusable 4 pitch walk-off walk. i don't know what's up with jesus, his velocity is filthy but he reverted back to his wild ways. i just hope this demoralizing loss doesn't result in a tailspin. everybody should be feeling good about themselves heading to st. louis unless your name is ray king or jesus colome.

bottom line is, we took 2 of 3 from the phils in their stadium  :woop: :woop:

One last thing that I need to say about this game. I still want to know A) why Acta chose to walk Utley to get to Howard, and B) why Dmitri didn't pinch hit? Please update if you hear anything.

Well, im fine with the choice of walking utley and howard in the 8th, but when the game is on the line and can end with a single run.. Why do it again?
