In 10 games ended July 9, uggla's BAbip was .600.  Since then, .167.  Back to form, though still about .040 above his norm for season.

MLB Gameday is still stuck at Ronny Paulino's RBI single to make it 2-0 in the bottom of the second inning. MLB.com homepage is stuck at 0-0 tie.

I'm joining the game just now.  Looks like Livan was very solid, and the Nats had Johnson in predicaments but failed to get a key hit.

Who made the error?

Oh, and Natsaddict is our reporter at the game.

Helms makes perhaps his last play as a Marlin.

Valuable trade bait, I suppose.

Will be good to not have to face him again this season.

Livan pitched a gem.  Kennedy should not be running interfering on that play.

11 hits and 0 runs.  That's why we lost the game though.  Dunn/Zimmerman had their opportunities to really cash it in for us.

And p.s. you could tell Nyjer wasn't happy with Nunez celebration at the end haha.

p.s. Craig Stammen is 0-1, with a 6.11 ERA in 17.2 IP (4 starts) vs. Marlins all-time.  :? Hopefully he's better tomorrow.  Keep the ball down.

yeah Livo was awesome tonight.  Much better tonight against a much better line-up than he faced last time out (Giants last Sunday).

they left something like 10 or 11 runners on base tonight. that's not going to get it done, obviously. frustrating game.

Very frustrating game.  Lots of hits for the Nats but no runs driven in.

Livan deserved much better.
