Actually, it was the same story with Maya.  He pitched ok for the first four innings then he just collapsed.

After giving up a leadoff single Meyers strikes out the side in the Top of the 1st.

He's blocked in AA by the likes of Mock, Martin, and Maya. :?

Why was he sent down to AA when he already dominated that level twice? This is the problem of the Nationals organization. They are too willing to hold back promising players for older guys just because they invested something into those older guys. Mock will never help the Nationals. let him go. Rizzo is too stubborn to realize that.

They gotta push Meyers if he keeps this up. We have to see what we have. I don't know if last year's lost season took the wind out of his prospect sails, but I still get cised.

There is no problem with having Meyers down at AA, for multiple reasons.  The competition isn't that different than AAA, he is just coming back from a season of injury, and he isn't going to be one of the first pitchers called up to the big leagues when the need arises.

Derek Norris got hit by a pitch... in retaliation, he stole 2nd base.

Why the hate? Dude's 24 and could still turn into an awesome reliever.

15 Ks to 0 BBs tonight for the Sens in a 5-0 win.

McCoy and Mattheus pitched the last two frames.
