I don't think anyone's in a hurry, but let's be honest, do you think he'll ever hit .303/.360/.550 with 31 HR and 95 RBIs? I like Morse a lot but his value will never be higher. I shop him this winter (not aggressively, but just to see what you can get) and look to move him next year if we can figure out a first base replacement.
Why do you think he can't? He produced at close to that level last year and I remained skeptical. After a full season of it this year, I'm ready to get on the bandwagon. Sure it's entirely possible he falls off significantly next year, but so could anyone.
