I wonder how long he'll stick with the LaRussa-esque pitcher-batting-8th thing.
They're all mediocre to terrible, depending on whose agenda you ask. Hence my original about Hairston playing left, which sailed right over Linty. I think I was thinking Morse should be playing left, but of course he's filling in at first for Magic Glove now.
Nats reinstate Ryan Zimmerman from the 15-day DL and option RHP Craig Stammen to Triple-A Syracuse.
Bixler is still on the team??? So who is our long reliever?

That's why Linty's not playing LF tonight.
Chief will calculate the WARGDT and get back to us.
On the bright side... if you're a fan of Ryan Mattheus, you'll likely get to see his debut tonight.
What, you don't want to see my mean 62mph fastball?
Stammen's the odd man out.
still waiting to hear who got the ticket to Syracuse to make room for Zimmerman.
I thought he needed three years of data for it to "normalize".
1. Jayson Werth - RF2. Ian Desmond - SS3. Ryan Zimmerman - 3B4. Michael Morse - 1B5. Danny Espinosa - 2B6. Wilson Ramos - C7. Rick Ankiel - CF8. Yunesky Maya - P9. Jerry Hairston - LF
And we need Coffey and his capri pants on standby.
It's very nice of Zimm to return to play on my birthday. Now, a win tonight would be a real present.
Yup, just getting a jump on since my hero Maya is starting.

I still don't like the line-up. I think Werth is terrible as the Lead-Off Hitter. And I think Werth should bat, before or after, Ryan Z. Anybody else have heartburn with this line-up?
