I meant that sincerely, but my apologies to JMU if it came off wrong.  A lot of people seem to read posts 100% literally and without context.

No offense at all.

Move norris to 1b...ramos could be our guy.

Um, desmond why are you swinging first pitch wow.

At least tomorrow is better weather.

A game ago people were nagging about taking too many pitches. Now we're back to this.   :|

Werth comes back up with a 0-2 count.  I wish the ump would have pulled them at least 1 pitch sooner.

You won't get an argument from me about that. Give the uber-optomists a couple of weeks. They'll be in your camp.

The sun is shining again northwest of the city. They'll be playing again in about 15 minutes.

Just seems like a lot of hypocrisy around here to me.  It's okay to gush over the defense or Werth's bat, but it's absolutely taboo to point out that the defense is all that's (barely) keeping the pitcher in the game, or that nobody other than Dunn-replacement can put a ball into the outfield against a shaky pitcher.  You also get labeled a panic-mongering doomsayer for being concerned about the team's holes

I wasn't, I was at the game dumbass.

I'm okay with him being aggressive, but not against a pitcher that has been wild.

On the radio they are talking about Pudge wanting to stay, even as a backup.  And about how Riggs says on Pudge's off days it's like having an extra coach in the dugout, with him constantly discussing things, commenting on things, noticing when pitchers are starting to lose it, etc.

If he's willing to take on that role, I'd love to see him stick around.  But not if he's going to fill the role he did last year.

I'm in Kansas City and they just brought in Aaron Crow with bases loaded and he struck out Torii Hunter and the grounded out Vernon Wells. Their fans went crazy and I, sporting the Strasburg shirt, chose not to applaud.

He blew Hunter away with 96 MPH heat.

Crow is a lot better than I thought he was.

I remember watching him pitch while he was at Mizzou.  He's filthy, perhaps saddled with some bad advice somewhere along the line, but he's talented.
