4 hits for Reed Johnson :lmao:

Our bullpen and bench are the worst in baseball. Mike Rizzo is a full. And he won't sign our draft picks

This is what really has SF pissed off. He wants the draft picks signed so he can drool over more prospects.

People also don't realize, Bob, that hitters didn't take as many pitches as players do today so pitchers COULD go that many innings and not throw so many damn pitches.

Games were a lot quicker too.

I've still got the dry heaves from that Take Me Out to the Ballgame crapshow.  That was almost as bad as Billy Corgan in the Bartman game.

The deadline is the 15th. We haven't signed any of our top guys. Time is ticking out

That's the only way Espinosa can get on base nowadays.

I forget who I was listening to, but because MLB doesn't like news of huge dollar deals getting out, they often wait until the very end to announce a lot of deals that may have already been done.

we didn't sign Strasburg or Harper until a day or two before the deadline. Its actually pretty typical for it to go down to the wire.

Nope.  Flores' Fanboy hasn't stopped choking his chicken all night long.
