I have the app on my iphone. It's pretty slick actually.... makes buying tickets easy.

I'm going to have to get that on my phone so if I DO make it down to the park without any tickets, I will have that thing handy. Do I need to have a ticket right there or can there be a barcode on my phone or something... lol

My strip tickets are paying for themselves plus the extra tickets I'm using. I'm sitting in 113 tonight!

It's possible seats will go down quickly on StubHub in the next 3 hours. Grandstand seats at Yankee Stadium tonight fell as low as $16.50 just before the 2 hour cut off.

Yea I saw that. I'll make sure to check back in a couple of hours.

Oh interesting. So if they aren't cheap there then there will definitely be a good amount of scalpers.

Also, I never used stub hub much. Why does it say there are tickets for 109$ then when you click on the game, the ticket jumps up to 120$?

Fees or the person changed their prices on you, which is odd.

The cheap seats sell quickly and you might get a notice that the ticket isn't available when you complete your transaction, so just make it quick!

Repeatedly adjusting prices a few hours before the sale end is very common.

The bar code on a pdf has worked on my phone

Makes sense. I also think that StubHub automatically adjusts prices for sellers as well, dropping them over time (though they probably aren't doing it in this case, why would they)

lol people I'd possibly be going with are dropping like flies. I might just buy a ticket and stand by myself until afterwards (I know many people are going to be there but actually have seats). It would totally be worth it!

I just sold my SRO and picked up 2 in 222.  Paid a bit more for the comfort of seats and not having to get in early to claim a spot.

Just got an email from my sales rep.  She says she can get $100 Lincoln or Jefferson suites for a total of $275.  These are all inclusive tickets which included food and drink. If you want to buy, call her directly at 202-640-7661.  Her name is Mary Kate.

Standing room only is like $120 right now with fees, for $150 more you get a suite and free food and drinks....thought that might more sense for some folks.

Anyway, I'm off to the game!

Thanks Hondo, great info!  Also, she's not my normal rep, but I have worked with Mary Kate before, and she's great.  Good luck with tickets everybody!

Suite tickets are dropped to $275 on the official site too now.

SRO are at $106 which makes no sense to me, seeing as there are mid level tickets in the 130ish range.

I feel like I'm playing ticket chicken, trying to see who will swerve first...

I'm at the stadium.... No scalpers on half street, but they are huddled at the end on 1/2 st. I went to talk to them and they are a little spooked. Wanted 150 for sro, obviously it's early and you can get them down from that.

People think they have the last willy wonka golden ticket on stub hub and craigslist.  Jeez.  The stubhub cutoff is in less than an hour and there are 700+ tickets.  When do they start to drop, if they do?

7,000 tickets have sold in the past 20 hours, 650 are left now, at this point I wouldn't count on much of a price crash because there are almost certainly hundreds of people waiting until the last minute to try to make a purchase.

15 tickets sold in the past 2-3 minutes.
