!!!

Gamecast just scored a run.  Is it behind or did it really just now happen?

edit: Yeah, there's a delay.

Can someone fill me in on what Wilkerson did?  The game tracker on CBS.sportsline is frozen.

From ESPN Gamecast: B Wilkerson safe at first on error by second baseman K Matsui, K Kelly scored, B Watson to third.

Not much detail, I know, but that's what happened.

edit: now Gamecast is frozen too  :?

You know I really hope FR lets Chief Pitch you guys always say that saves happen....I forgot but this is a "save situation" cuz the Mets really suck right now and we need to take advantage of them

So did Baerga hit into a double play to end the inning?

Unless we scored another run (Gamecast is frozen, again), it's not a save situation.  I think we're tied (but it'd be great if we're not)

I mean its a "save situtation" in the sense that we need this game. Not technical "save situation"

Anyone else besides me feeling just immensely frustrated that Rick Short hasn't been used at all in this game yet?

Try waiting for the updates on your gameday screen.  Excruciating, plus it's hard to get any work done!

No fanatic, I share that sentiment. Putting Carroll and not Short on Second Base is criminal, criminal, I tell you. Criminal. Thanks for having some common sense, fanatic.

especially not baerga. you gotta stay out of a DP and let NJ hit. I dont usually bash frank, but that was poor

And if Baerga had driven a run, you would be singing his praises.  Goes both ways, folks.

Nice pitching by Bergmann, he made fun of FLoyd and Wright...on teh strike 3...man both thought it was going to be a ball. Floyd almost homered but it went foul, I was like oh no...and PHEW!

I think Baerga's a pretty good pinch hitter. I agree with that.
