Debbi Taylor is terrible.
It amuses me how MASN has these "fantasy camp" commercials with her wherein it looks like she's showing people the ropes.  Yes, that's exactly the person you want imparting the craft of interviewing to others.

then why was Hill down 1-0. If ball one equals single

Maybe he missed? It's not an automatic single. I'm saying it's pretty obvious that Hill is a guy that doesn't fall behind a lot. Casanova just put a good swing on a ball that he knew was going to be a strike.

Nice AB, Lopez! Come on Guzman. This is why I'm happy he's batting second now. These situations.

Edit: Not for that. :?

bench his ass, Manny!! That's just sickening.  CG has seen two freakin ptiches tonight.  It's no wonder we don't score when we consistently have ABs like that.  embarrassing

ok.

I'm calling this right now.

Zim gets on next inning.  Austin Ks. Wily Mo hits a 2 run HR.

It's gonna happen.

Why doesn't Manny ever hit and run?  We ground into double plays like it is our job.  Run some of the time.

isnt that what all major leaguers do when the pitcher has walked 2 batters in the inning

Walks the lead-off man... Hill is sure making a ton of dumb mistakes for a guy who is supposed to be an ace

and now Hill has walked Church to lead off the 4th. Why why why - fundamentals - it is just something that we havent had for 6 years straight.

I hope so, but that eyes-closed swing of Pena's needs to somehow find the ball for that to happen.

Pena has practically driven no balls to left field like he did last year.  He used to flat out rake the ball to deep left.

On any other team: Hill is not an Ace.

On the Nats: God-Ace.
