Shrug. Personal preference. And mine is not to die. Nothing breaks immersion like being immortal.
Oh, I wasn't disagreeing with you exactly. I didn't know horses can outrun them. But I got Kyne's Peace before I would have had the money for a horse anyway.
So what you're saying is you'll dump dozens of hours into this game, but you're too impatient to spend 5 minutes walking out of the dungeon with all your loot? Hell, you'd probably spend more time making multiple trips (or selling the loot, for that matter)
Heck yeah. I only get to play an hour on weeknights, if I get to play at all. My 500 hours will be spread out.
Walking encumbered takes forever.
Those potions are only good for 50-60 extra points even at the higher levels, and you can't stack them. Horse FTW, IMO. That said, I usually don't bother with either option and just drop my least valuable loot. I also tend to store all my loot from each "stage" of a dungeon in a chest or barrel near the beginning of that section to minimize walking time when I'm leaving.
Yeah, I don't get over-encumbered too often anymore, I'm more selective of what I take back.
The bolded is a great idea. This might be my new approach.
