Greetings folks.  Been on the road, listening to Charlie and Dave, marveling at Livan's stylish effort.  Also marveling at some of the managing decisions we've seen or heard.

Church sacrificing with two on, no outs?  And the Padres, walking Schneider to pitch to Livan.  That one worked out, but still didn't make sense.

Enough bellyaching.  I have located a splendid cache of half smokes, a mere 3 miles from the Capital Beltway.  You will be hearing more about them.
Seriously...Livan has been pitching an absolute gem so far.

He's last outing was absolutely masterful as well ... I think he's really turned the corner!
That would be most helpful.

NJ just pulled it foul and now strikes out.  Looks like we are going to have to pull out a shutout.  Come on, Livo, keep it up!

So do you think we could go with a two man rotation for the rest of the year? Hernandez/Ortiz? ... Hernandez is supposed to be an inning eater after all :)

Did I see that he threw a 59 mph pitch?  Awesome.

Seriouslly, that was a 10 pitch at bat for NJ and he got the strikeout on NJ looking (which almost never happens) after he crushed one just foul ... wow ... quite a performance from both pitchers ...

Not unless this was 1910...probably the player's union forbids it these days.

Yeah, I was just checking, 105 vs. Livan's 77.

that's 5 Ks for Livan this game.  This reminds me of the way he was last year.  Whatever he had for breakfast this morning...he needs to keep eating it.

Well, uh, keep on eating measured portions of it, you mean, not continuously, right?
