When you throw Stairs, Desmond, Bernadina out there, these things happen.
Ramos too. You are basically relying on all your production from Zim, Morse, Nix, and Espinosa. Having 5 black holes isn't going to work.

So who do we gotta give up for Bourn or someone that can, you know, hit above .250?  I'm not attached to anyone on this roster except for the Zim's, Espinosa, Morse, and Stras/Harper(obviously).  Seriously, anyone can go.  Set up a package and get someone that can swing a freaking bat in here.

Desmond and Ramos both have horrible pitch recognition skills. Not sure who is worse
OMG Ramos is the 16th best offensive C in the league. As a rookie I'd say being in the 50th % is good. Just shutup.

On the bright side, if the ump hadn't messed up that call we're tied right now.

Bobby Cassevah (who?) with the best outing of his career. What a joke the Nats are

Werth isn't necessarily a black hole... but whatever.

Nice catch.  Slipped my mind for some reason.  Add Clippard to that list.

Yeah... I understand when spoprtsfan rants about players that are really just plain bad (god knows the Nats have enough of them) but ranting about a rookie catcher for not being a premium offensive guy and deciding based on that that he's not major-league caliber is just silly.

Abreu has been a pain in our arses, even after he left the NL.

Your logic is flawed still. You say playing at that park hurts the Angels. Their opponents also play there so both teams are at the same disadvantage. It means during Angels' home games both teams are as likely to play poorly. Think about it for a sec.

But they'll play far more games on the field than their opponents.  Say they'll play 40 more home games (about 40 more road game).  Other AL West teams will play, probably 9 more games there (71 games someplace else).

They will be more negatively affected by the field because they'll be on it more often.

I think we will have to part with Clippard to get anything good.

Lol, what is this about?

That doesn't make sense unless you're talking about error totals, since during all the (many more) games that they play at home both teams will be equally hurt by the field.  It doesn't affect things one way or another.

Angels warming up Michael Kohn with a 5.40 ERA/1.35 WHIP 6.2 IP this year to close the game :?

Following Casevah who also had a high ERA coming into this game.

Now?  It looked terrible the second it was announced.  I know I've been overreacting a lot, but speaking completely objectively, Davey is off to an awful start as our manager.  His handling of our pitchers, batting Stairs, benching Nix.... it's a good thing I came into this season expecting another bad one, because I feel like the downswing is about to start for the Nats.

Ramos played amazing behind the plate. He was 1-3, R, BB. Not bad. You just love to nag.
