Ramos is a bad offensive player. One clutch HR doesn't change that.

WHY ARE YOU SWINGING AT THAT?

Ramos' lack of production at the plate is a major concern.

lol

I love how they said "that's a lot of respect for Danny"

no, it's not.  it's recognizing that your opponent has three of the worst hitters in the major leagues coming up to the plate.

now we'll be without a 4/4 batter in the 9th when we'll undoubtedly be down at least one run

Davey is really pissing me the freak off.

We don't need hit.  We just don't need a double play!

And now Nix is on the bench.
Thanks, Grandpa Johnson...

Yep. No idea how anybody can bench somebody who is batting .1000.

Riggs did it many, many times to Morse.

Ramos has a sub .240 BA and a sub .400 SLG pct. Not a good offensive player. Has frequent poor ABs with runners on base.

Gets anxious early in the count and grounds out.

This is the most painful baseball game I've watched in quite some time. Just brutal.

He's a freaking catcher.  The position with the highest defensive premium and lowest offensive replacement level.  Do you expect him to be a good offensive player?

3 double plays. Not going to get it done. A chance to win the game or at the worst tie it and Ramos chokes like a dog against a pitcher who can't find the strike zone. Swung at possible ball 2 instead of waiting for a pitch he can drive to the outfield.

His ABs are generally very poor in nature.

Exactly. Not that many catchers hit well.
