If I was a pitcher on the Nats squad...and I got the pitiful excuse for offensive support from these clowns, I'd say my arm is sore too.  Maybe there's nothing wrong with Patterson OR Hill - maybe it's a pitcher revolt!

Or Acta.  Has there ever been a manager who removed a pitcher who was pitching a NO-HITTER?

Abreu - career minor leaguer who hasn't done well in AAA until recently.

Yo. 1-0 lead, hopefully we can maintain it so J.R. can get his first save opp. If he does well we could have a closer controversy on our hands.

I was thinking the same thing - how come they aren't behind the dugout, or at least in a loge box?

Good observation. I dind't think of that when I saw them but you're right. They should be right behind the dugout or better.

Kearns has serious issues with holding on to the bat. It would've been messed up if it hit Church's wife or mom.

RYAN CHURCH hits an RBI DOUBLE in front of his mom and gorgeous wifey, Tina.
Ryan #2 scores on Kearns' sacrifice fly.

Nationals 3
Marlins 0

I <3 this lineup. i was waiting for Manny to put Ronnie at 1B. I say don't change a thing, give Nook at least two weeks to get his bat in motion.

Yes he is. As long as this lead does not evaporate he will get the win.
