Numbers showed that.

Riggs thought he looked purty against LHB.

Burnett is the exact opposite of a left-handed specialist!

This makes the double switch even worse!  You should want Burnett out of the game, as quickly as possible!

7th Jim Edmonds homer, ESPN is incompetent
7th   J Edmonds homered to right, R Weeks scored.

Nationals  7
Brewers  5

I'll bet Jason Bergmann is sitting by his phone in Syracuse.

The pitching stunk tonight.  That's the real culprit.

At least we get the pleasure of watching Peralta.

Peralta needs to be moved up the pecking order until he proves that he shouldn't be.

Actually, I forgot, any one of those three Orioles losses were worse than this one but this one is close.

This is the kind of crushing loss that leads to sweep.  I don't know how we don't get swept in this series.

Adam's grandmother is 95 years old.  That means he comes from good stock!  Give him that fourth year, Rizzo/Kasten!!!

If Peralta had come in instead of Clippard would we still be in the lead?  :?

I love Bob saying that Axford wouldn't be available earlier in the broadcast, and yet, here he is.

Brewski's closer, John Axford, is on my WNFF fantasy team.  Because the Brewers suck too, he's also got a 5-1 W-L record from all the close games.  I don't need the Save; I'm leading 8-2 already this week in Saves.

Carpenter and Dibble were TOO CHICKEN to ask Riggleman if we are going to see Michael Morse play more.
