Great news! Today I took my last chemistry exam... ever. Bonus points to anyone who can answer this question from my Organometallics exam today:

Devise a way to install the three trans olefins of Rapamycin, an immunosuppresant marketed by Wyeth under the trade name "Rapamune," in one step. Good luck!

Rizzo's first game for the Padres tonight.

Hope the Nats hold him in check.

It's amazing how Rizzo is ready now that his super two status has been removed.

we should win 3 outta 4, nothing worse than a split.

harang has been good this year, but we've actually hit him over the years.

i would love to go 3-1 and come home 30-36, all things considering.

Our first 2 hitters have OBPs of .268 and .273.

Riggleman sure does know how to make a lineup.

Ankiel has a OBP of .162 since coming off the DL. Wonder where he's leading the young guys?

Good to see Espinosa back and (hopefully) healthy.

Rizzo should be fun to watch.

Thanks Spidernat

Well, it's funny sometimes I'll watch the gameday on MLB.com and have this open at the same time to check your guys' comments, etc...  Sometimes you guys are hilarious, so I just thought I could join in the fun.  I've been a Nats fan from day 1 after they moved from Montreal.  I was an Expos fan since the 80's, and I was super upset when they left.

But it's okay because the Nats picked up right where they left off (years of mediocrity)  :icon_frown:, although I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.  8)

How the hell is that "organometallics" anyway? There's no metals in that molecule!

sportsfan882 posted that he was getting lineups (before ESPN posts them) from a Nats Twitter.  This site typically lists lineups very early, maybe 4 hours before a game.  When Werth got scratched, they posted a second, adjusted lineup to reflect that.  Very good site for planning fantasy team lineups.  I've bookmarked it:

With Ankiel leading off, they may as well just have him swing three times at nothing at sit down. Seriously, does Riggleman think that the CF is required to leadoff? :smh:

If we can't score more runs than the Padres this series, there needs to be some serious roster shakeup.

Not happening, unfortunately.  Anyone try to hold Rizzo's feet to the fire on his radio show tonight?
