It's probably for the same reason they brought Hernandez back. They don't want to use any of the youngsters because they aren't ready or just suck.

this.

...and I don't think we've seen the last of Kensing.  He's in Syr. now.

Where have I been? I thought Kensing was gone for good.

Storen + FA makes the pen top 5 in the NL with Burnett, Clippard, and MacDougal

Assuming that, that still leaves two spots open.

Storen is the real deal. I'm really impressed with Burnett so far

 were just leaving him in to do more damage.

Take heart  - they did this with Saul because he was getting optioned and wanted to save the pen for the next game. I bet his ass is DFA'd so they don't care how many pitches he throws.

we have relievers in AAA (and AA) that can pitch better than these freaking hacks.

Josh Wilkie, Yunior Novoa, Clint Everts, etc.

Rizzo talked him into staying. He's not on the 40 man, so at least we don't have to put up with him next week.

I don't know what we can do with our bullpen for 2010.  :(

Charge admission to sit in the bullpen...

no he's not. last man out of the pen. earlier in the year he was closing games for them.

Wilkie/Segovia are the 8th/9th inning guys in Cuse.

ok PC, now you can say it.

and well freak, what was the point of taking Sosa out now.

just leave him in and save the rest of the pitchers. leave Sosa to die out there, and then DFA his ass after the game.

That's what I would have done. left his ass out there to give up run after run and then can his ass and bring up Josh Wilkie after the game.

I know you fancy yourself a good manager but not only would you be a bad manager your players would beat your ass at least once a week in the clubhouse.  :lmao:

Josh Wilkie just pitched a scoreless 8th inning to hold a 4-3 lead against the First Place Scranton Yankees in AAA.

very critical game/series for the Syracuse Chiefs. they are only a few games behind Scranton in the division.

He's a bum and always has been one. I thought he was temp for when we were playing 25 games in 25 days, but he's turned into the uninvited guest that won't leave.
